NP Series Top Entry Industrial Agitators

NP Series agitators are designed for homogenization, dissolution and solid suspension in atmospheric vessels from 1 m³ to 2000 m³ handling low to medium viscosity fluids. Available in two models: NP-M (Medium Duty) and NP-H (Heavy Duty). With motor power up to 132 kW, shaft lengths up to 15 meters and 7 different impeller types, they reliably serve a wide range of industries from water treatment to mining, food to chemicals.

OVERVIEW

NP Series — Two Models, One Reliable Solution

The NP Series consists of top entry industrial agitators manufactured by Mechanimix. They are used for homogenization, dissolution and solid suspension in atmospheric vessels with capacities from 1 to 2000 m³. Offering motor power up to 132 kW, impeller diameters from 300 to 8000 mm and shaft lengths up to 15 meters, the series is produced in two models: NP-M (medium duty) and NP-H (heavy duty). It is widely preferred in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, water treatment, mining and biofuel industries.

Modular Drive

Motor, gearbox and shaft configuration can be easily modified to suit process requirements; maintenance performed with a single removal operation

Hygienic Design

High surface finish preventing dead zones, food-grade gear oil and CIP-compatible custom TH flange to prevent in-tank leakage

Adjustable Blades

Impeller blade angle can be field-adjusted via bolted hub connection; flow direction and intensity optimized without replacing the impeller or drive

CFD-Backed Design

Every unit is sized using computational fluid dynamics simulation tailored to your actual tank geometry; minimum dead zones, maximum mixing efficiency

Ex-Proof & Certified

ATEX-compliant explosion-proof design for hazardous environments; full compliance with international standards through IEC/NEMA motor options

Low Operating Cost

Energy-efficient impeller selection, long-life bearing design and easily accessible service points reduce total cost of ownership
